-Cabinet made.
-Square nails; hand-planed wood and carvings; exuberant scroll-cut handles.
-Four large drawers of different width are assembled with dovetails; the fronts are covered (1/8”) with an exotic wood. The slanted front corners are ornamented with lozenge-like sculptures.
-Original finish: brou-de-noix

-Several coats of paint have been removed to reveal a heavy Indian red over a yellow primer.
